Fritz Nelson has overall responsibility for the strategic direction and management of custom media and services for CMP's Business Technology Group. Fritz's team will produce custom programs such as microsites, sponsored supplements, custom events, custom research, contract magazines and alliance marketing programs.
Most recently, Fritz was Executive Producer of CMP TV, responsible for the strategy, development and creation of CMP's web TV products. Prior to that, Fritz was Senior Vice President/Group Publisher responsible for its overall strategy and management of the Business Technology Group, which includes industry-leading brands such as InformationWeek, TechWeb, Interop, Web 2.0 and Black Hat.
Before joining CMP, Fritz worked with Lockheed Martin's Computing Standards group testing and evaluating technologies and before that was a technical writer for USBI, a subsidiary of United Technologies. Fritz graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in journalism.
